Yin & Tonic is Nick Ferrio and David J Bird

Yin is the compliment of yang in Chinese philosophy. It encompasses all that is slow, subtle, and yielding. In herbal medicine, tonic is used to restore or invigorate bodily systems, or to promote general well-being. The subtle, yielding sounds of yin & tonic seek to invite restorative relaxation and well-being through sound.

This collection of music arose out of a monthly yin yoga class, with massage and live music, entitled Yin & Tonic, taught by Andrea Palichuk at Moksha Yoga in Peterborough, Ontario. It features collaboratively written songs, the works of David J Bird, and instrumental versions of songs by Nick Ferrio.
